We kicked off spring break with a trip to Luxembourg. What a neat little country! It is smaller than Rhode Island, but the wealthiest country per capita. It was a very interesting country. We really enjoyed the Passerelle, what a spectacular park. We also found a great little park for the children to play in and have some kid time, in a very grown up city. They were so incredibly well behaved, we so really wanted to get the kids some ice cream as a reward,, but after a lot of searching we never found any! That was a first in our European travels! We also brought along one of the kids friends, Devyn. She and Katie had a great time chatting away as we took in the sites. They were really looking forward to seeing the palace (since it still had an actual royal living in it still..), unfortunatly, it was not as impressive as a second grader might imagine.
We had dinner that night at a Mexican restaurant in Kaiserslautern. It was so yummy, we haven't had mexican in three years! It was an even bigger surprise to see one of our old friends at there!
We had a great day, we are off to a great start on this spring break!
